In 2004 it was decided the Three Rivers Kiwanis would sponsor a Gazebo Project, to build a gazebo in Veterans Park in Milo. After speaking with the Town of Milo manager and the people from the Community Band it was decided to build a gazebo approximately 27 feet in diameter. Local businesses were contacted and some agreed to donate supplies at cost. Some fund raisers were held such as a fruit sale and concert. Local contractors provided some help with electrical and concrete work but the vast majority of construction was done by Kiwanians. The gazebo took nearly one year to build and was completed in May of 2005.
