Veterans Day Dinner

On Veterans’ Day Wednesday, November 11, 2009, the Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo/Brownville will host local area veterans and their families for a dinner at no charge. The doors will open at 11 am in the Milo Town Hall and Art Center located on Pleasant Street in Milo. The doors will close at 11:30 am to prepare for a POW/MIA ceremony preformed by the American Legion Post #41 of Milo. Following the ceremony, a full dinner will be served by the Kiwanis, Key Club and Builder Club members. The Milo Elementary School Singers of over 25 members will be performing for the veterans. Local school children will be creating individual placemats for the dinner.
There is no cost and anyone who has served, or is serving now and their
immediate family members, are invited as well as widows/widowers.

If members of the community would like to donate to support
this important event that honors our veterans, donations can be made
the day of the event at the town hall or can be sent to Three Rivers

The Three Rivers Kiwanis meets every Wednesday morning at 6:30 am in Milo at the Hobnobbers located at 45 West Main Street.
