Milo
, Maine:
On Friday, November 13, 2009 the Three Rivers Kiwanis presented a plaque to Mark and Terry Awalt of JSI Store
Fixtures in recognition of your service to the communities of Milo & Brownville through the 2009 Clayton
Johndro Memorial Golf Tournament. The tournament was held on August 13, 2009 at the Katahdin Country Club in
Milo. The proceeds were awarded to the Three Rivers Kiwanis and
the Brownville Playground Committee. To provide the
funding for our many projects, of course, requires fund raising. One of our more significant fund
raisers is the JSI/Kiwanis Golf Tournament now called "The Clayton Johndro Memorial Golf Tournament." said
Eben DeWitt, Co-chairman of the Golf Tournament. This past golf tournament was a banner year for fund raising
with a record amount of $6800. This amount, according to Kiwanis President Barton, represents about 20%
of the Clubs fund raising.
Most of the credit
goes to Mark Awalt and his staff here at JSI and we do hereby wish to present Mark and JSI staff with this
plaque with the hope that JSI and Kiwanis can continue their partnership with The Clayton Johndro Memorial
Golf Tournament on an annual basis.
